The Department of Agriculture plays an important role in the Connecticut food system, with impact on many programs that support nutrition for low-income families. Meet the new commissioner on Wednesday morning.

Calling all Hunger Relief Advocates and Food Assistance Providers!

Join us on Wednesday, May 1, for our annual legislative event at the Connecticut State Capitol.

This is a great opportunity to talk with State Legislators that we have invited to a special event to meet advocates and food assistance providers to learn about your interests and concerns.

We will meet from 10:30AM to 12:00PM at the Capitol in the Old Judiciary Room. We are spreading the word with legislators and state elected officials.

This event is a great opportunity to meet legislators who are there specifically to hear from you! We encourage you to attend and to help us show our strength in numbers.

We’ll be sending more details soon about the event, so please get Wednesday, May 1, from 10:30AM to 12:00PM on your calendars and begin making plans to attend!
